Chocolate Protein Balls

Let's face it, we all need a little sweetness in our life sometimes!

These are a great little treat to have as a dessert option after dinner.


Ingredients:

1/4 cup protein powder of choice

1/4 cup organic desiccated coconut

1/4 cup cacao

1/4 cup raw cacao nibs

1/4 cup roasted hazelnuts

1/2 cup almonds

12 fresh pitted dates

For mixing:

2 tablespoons organic coconut oil

1 tablespoon water

extra coconut for rolling


Method:

Put all ingredients into a food processor or Thermomix

Blend until the mixture looks like biscuit crumbs.

Add coconut oil and water.

Process again until soft and combined.

Shape into balls using an ice cream scoop or spoon.

Roll in coconut and allow them to set in the fridge before eating.
